Hmmm...What Does This Sound Like To You?

In the UK, a familiar argument comes up, but from a different source. From the Daily Mail:
It found some teachers are reluctant to cover the atrocity for fear of upsetting students whose beliefs include Holocaust denial.
Maybe they should "teach the controversy." Or perhaps just teach the "gaps" and "problems" in the Holocaust record.

  1. *snicker* Controversies, gaps & problems? Hmmm. Why don't we form all curricula this way? Teach "Confederate Americans" the South won the Civil War, for instance. Oh, but that's not true, they'll say. Well, neither are ID, creationism, or "Holocaust denial" I'll say. There is no room for faith of any kind when it comes to facts.
