A new investigation would lead a cynical person--that would be me--to understand that Republicans used government monies and grants--that would be my tax dollars--to fund their campaigns. I guess they are for public financing after all, just an ex officio, furtive, roguish kind of "not-so-public" financing that makes the libertarian in me want to shove my foot up their ass.
I don't know if it's technically illegal, but IT STINKS!

It's actually hard to imagine that that's not business as usual during this and previous administrations.
