If you are thinking of switching, I suggest getting the iMac for your desktop, but at least keeping a PC laptop (this is what I have, though my iMac is at work and I use it almost exclusively for work). I was a PC person for 10+ years, but the iMac IS nice. This article makes the adjustment sound a little more dramatic than it actually is, I think.
Mac laptops--or iBooks...whatever they want to call them--are notoriously shitty. I don't care what the reviews say, everyone I know with a Mac laptop has issues with it. Also, you're eventually going to find a game or program that only runs on a PC, so I would suggest keeping a PC around if that's a possibility.

The real question is: where do you want your brain?
ReplyDeleteI want mine in a Mac. 1/3 of mine is in my iPhone anyway...
